Some of you have toured our farm in the past; others of you are new to us.  Looking for something to do for the kids just about any time of the year?  We have what you are looking for!  Get those kids out of the house and bring them down on the farm to get a once in a lifetime hands on experience.  Located in Northwestern Ohio, Country Lane Tree Farm is host to hundreds of school children and families. The spring and summer season feature Educational School Farm Animal tours where kids and adults get up close and personal with our farm animals.  No other farm in NW Ohio or Michigan allows you to wander through their farm, along side of peacocks, ducks and chickens, hold baby ducks, chicks and bunnies, then feed all of their farm animals.  Milking our REAL cow is always a big hit with the kids and adults!  In addition to the farm tours, Fall season brings our Fall Festival that features our 10 acre U-Pick pumpkin patch, a FREE Hayride,  our Family Farm Animal Tours, our famous Corn Maze  and NW Ohio's ONLY Haunted Hayride that takes you out through a Christmas Tree Farm!  Browse our website by clicking on Fall Festival for more information.

Country Lane Tree Farm is owned and operated by the Bowlander family, the 5^th generation to operate the farm.  The Family Homestead, Barn and buildings were built in 1883.  The same family has farmed the farm for over 126 years. Country Lane Tree Farm is still a working agricultural and animal farm.  The Bowlander’s are very proud of the history of their farm.  The farm is located on the old Trolley Car Line that ran from Toledo to Lakeside Marblehead. One of the old concrete supports still stands near the farm, as does the White Rock Quarry in nearby Clay Center, Ohio. In 1987, they decided to diversify the crops they were farming and added 50 acres of Christmas Trees.  The Craft Barn was added as well.  In 1995, at the request of a teacher, the first school farm tour was held on the farm.  In 2003, the Bowlander’s decided to add a small pumpkin patch.(Which has now grown to 10 acres!)  In the Spring and Fall of 2013, the Bowlander’s expect to host 1000’s of students, scouts, families and senior citizen groups on their farm.  Families are welcome during the Fall Festival weekends without reservations. However, weekdays are still reserved for School Groups only.

The key to their farming operation is two-fold: Educational & Fun Farm Animal Tours and Outstanding Family Agri- Entertainment reasonably priced.
